Help finding a horror/killer movie.?
I recall watching a movie many years ago. It was about a young girl who was a killer. If I remember correct (i may have 2 films mashed together here) It started with her dressed in white (for a communion) holding a cross, when she lifted the cross up it was actually a knife. In the movie she lived in an appartment block. she Killed a young boy with her tap shoes on a beach. If i recall correctly in the end the caretaker of the building locked her in the basement because he knew she was the killer but the police shot him thinking he was the killer. She got away with it.
Its probably a famous movie i just dont know what it was called!

the bad seed (1956) starring nancy kelly, patty mc’cormack (the caretaker was locked in the basement by the girl and she started a fire to kill him, thats how the caretaker got killed)

It may have been the 1985 remake of the Bad Seed because the little girl didn’t live in an apartment block in the original. Also, she didn’t kill the little boy on a beach in the original. It was in a lake or pond by the dock or something.
