why are people so intent on killing burglars/intruders?
why do i always hear people complaining that it’s against the law to murder someone just for entering your house? i’m not talking about people who are clearly trying to kill you but why do people place their own material goods over a human life?
Alright, just because someones a burglar doesn’t mean they need to be killed.. So you people need to CHILL.

Anyone skulking around your house, when you are sleeping is there for nefarious reasons. To steal your stuff, to harm you in some way, or God forbid to harm your kids. You are trespassing in my home. You were not invited there, you have no right to be there. I am defending my home and my family. If you choose to violate the sanctity of my home, you must be prepared to endure the consequences of that action.
Not saying I would cap anyone that broke in, but rest assured if he tried anything, he gets a terminal case of lead poisoning.

you do not have the right to use deadly force to protect property.However if you clearly believe that your life is in danger than you have the right to use deadly force. So if you have an intruder in your home simply place a weapon on that person after you shoot that fool. Dam right I will smoke your boots for breaking into my spot. As far as im concerned a thief need s to die and is a worthless person.

"why do people place their material goods over human life"… its not only your things, when someone breaks into your house they violate your privacy, they make you feel unsafe in your own home, they make you worry about what they are capable of doing to your kids and wife/husband..
if someone breaks into my house i’m not going to wait and see what they are going to do, i’ll attack in every way possible, if he dies he dies. the police will take care of me afterwards, but i took care of my family

your home is your safe place where you and your loved ones live and sleep, there are people out in the world that couldn’t care less if you or your family lived or died, and some (human life) out there are evil, twisted,monsters on 2 legs looking for someone to prey on. they don’t deserve to live, they will cause destruction and heartbreak throughout there entire lives and not give a damn. if someone is mean and stupid enough to break into your home, do you think they wouldn’t have a problem with tying you up and raping and killing your wife in front of you? or your children? just because it’s a human life does not mean it’s sacred.

I would respond in a strong manner since I would not know what their intentions are. I would forever be upset with myself if such a situation caused harm to one of my family members, and I did not take proper action. While simply detaining the culprit sounds good if they do not act in a menacing manner (beside the break-in), I would not know if after their possible incarceration if they would come back for revenge. So, I guess I would shoot now and ask questions later if I saw even the slightest provocation or threat. It is not the material things that I would be protecting, but rather those that I love.
